Cold Weather Brings Record Birds

We ended up with a great week of hunting, we shot 135 birds last week at the club, a great week. We experienced exciting action daily. The birds are hitting most of our fields now in search of food . With the arrival of the fresh snow and blistering temperatures the flight activity has been consistent. This cold onslaught is forcing the birds to leave the lake to feed allowing a lot of shot opportunities and good working birds.
We still have several hunting slots open and would welcome you out to hunt with us. Additionally we offer some discounted rates for youths, what a great time to expose a young person to the great sport of waterfowl hunting. Better yet tell the wife your spending some quality time with your kids and sneak away for a couple of days to hunt with us. Great heated pits, friendly atmosphere and guides that will work hard to provide you with a memorable hunting experience.
Can you believe this… we had several first time goose hunters that shot a band, to make it even more interesting one of the gentlemen actually shot 3 banded birds over a 6 day period, now that’s luck! Enough to make a seasoned waterfowler envious.
